Sleepy Girl and Bumblebee

I'm guessing she's dreaming about babas, nummies, doggies, and Bumblebee.
Anna's favorite, most used word right now is "Bumblebee". And I mean the Bumblebee from Transformers. Anything that resembles him in the least, whether it's robotic looking or yellow, she calls it "Bumblebee".

No Training Wheels

We got home from swimming and Lucy decided she wanted to try riding her bike without her training wheels.

We've got lots of practicing ahead of us

Wishes of a Five-Year-Old

We went as a family to a Chinese restaurant where there was a large fountain in the lobby. Before leaving, Lucy insisted that she make a wish. I had three pennies. She scooped them from my hands, closed her eyes, and thought really hard.

Her wishes:

*I wish we could be the best family in the whole wide world

*I wish I could have the best day ever

*I wish my mom and dad could take me to the mall so I can play with my friends

I know I can at least make the last one come true! 

Feeding Giraffes

Whenever we go to the zoo, we always miss the times to feed the giraffes. We never get out the door early enough. This day, I made sure we were going to get there in time.
The kids got a big kick out of it! Annie was a little apprehensive about it, but she still held out the carrot for the long black tongue to grab it. I'm happy to spend only a couple of bucks on such a little fun experience!
