Alex had been studying for 6 months for his Step 1 Board Exam and nearly every day he would mention something about the beach. We wanted, more like NEEDED, a beach day after months or difficult study and survival with three kids. The next morning after his test (which he did great on, by the way! Yay!) we took off to California for the Labor Day weekend to be with our family.
It was a perfect weekend and the beach was beyond words!
